Product Description

Tungsten Carbide Cutting Tools for Wear Resistance can be divided into hard phase and binding phase. Hard phase: WC provides the superb hardness (over HRA90) and wear-resistance, and can add TiC and TaC to improve the hot resistance. They are called YT tungsten carbide, and suitable for processing steel parts. Binding phase: the binder is Co or Ni to enhance the bending strength. The higher cobalt, the better bending strength, but hardness is lower. Their name is YG or YN tungsten carbide, which are used for steel casting and non-ferrous metal.

Features of Tungsten Carbide Cutting Tools for Wear Resistance

  • Wear resistance: The hardness of carbide cutting tools is closed to diamonds, so they are usually used to process the high hardness materials.
  • Hot resistance: They keep the good cutting performance under 800-1000℃, which are suitable for high speed machining.
  • Chemical resistance: They have the good performance of oxidation resistance and prolong the service life.
  • Coating technology: Coating TiN or TiAlN via CVD or PVD, and reduces the friction, promotes the hot resistance.
  • Longer service time: Advantages of high hardness, wear-resistance and corrosion resistance make cutting tools have the longer service time.

FAQs

A1: Yes. We have a dedicated R&D center and high-precision grinding facilities. By providing your technical drawings, workpiece material hardness, and machining parameters, we can engineer custom geometries and specialized coatings for complex or high-volume applications.

A2: Quality stability is our priority. Every batch of carbide substrate undergoes metallographic analysis, and coatings are verified via thickness testers. We guarantee that dimensional deviation between batches is maintained within 0.002mm, ensuring your automated CNC processes require minimal offsets.

A3: Absolutely. For high-value large-diameter end mills or complex form tools, our regrinding service can save you up to 50% compared to buying new. We provide original-factory-grade regrinding and recoating to restore performance to over 90% of a new tool.
